CHEEK BLUSH
Cheek Blush is a new treatment for those who want a glowy, fresh face without applying any makeup. Imagine you have a cheek tint that does not wipe off weather and waterproof. This treatment provides you with a glowing radiance and a natural-looking flush at all times, instead of a dull face, it gives you a tint of subtle rose colour to the cheeks while delivering a youthful look.
BROW BONE HIGHLIGHT
Brow bone highlight gives a youthful radiance under the browbone, delivering an added definition and more lift in the arch, all without removing any hairs. In addition to making your arch look higher, which, in turn, lifts the eye area to help you appear more awake, the highlighter under the brow bone gives the whole face a subtle, healthy brilliance without the need to keep applying a concealer under your brow. We use a lighter shade under your brows, the shades are usually one or two shades brighter than the skin tone. We swatch the pigment under the brow for approval before starting the procedure. This treatment provides you with a subtle yet lifted, clean, crisp effect at all times without even trying.
In terms of active pre-care, the procedure doesn’t really require any strict prep since it’s less invasive than PMU, but you definitely should:
- Discontinue the use of Retinol, Retin A, or Vitamin A for 5 days before the treatment.
- If you take acne or blood-thinning medication, consult your doctor and see if it’s possible to discontinue use for some time before the treatment.
- Do a patch test.
Blood- and skin-thinning substances can cause bleeding or skin hypersensitivity. A patch test should be done whenever you’re getting any treatment for the first time to make sure you’re not allergic to any of the products used.

- Don’t touch the area for the rest of the day.
- Keep it dry for 24 hours.
- Don’t apply any makeup or skincare onto the area for 3 days.
- Don’t go swimming or expose the area to heat or steam for at least 3 days.
- Stay out of sunlight for some time (ideally, for several weeks).
- Avoid harsh products for a few days.
- If you’re prescribed an aftercare ointment. The ointment will provide a protective barrier until the skin heals, and it will provide moisture and nourishment to the treated area.
Since the skin is broken during the treatment, it’s important to protect the area from contamination. Exposure to chlorinated or saltwater, extreme heat, or sunlight can disrupt the pigment settling.

If the treatment is done right, there’s very little trauma to the skin. It will just need a few days to close up the tiny incisions. It should recover completely within 2 weeks. There might be some redness in the treated area for 24-48 hours. If it gets worse over time or doesn’t subside, contact us as you might be developing an infection.

The immediate side effects are not that bad – they come down to some redness and minor swelling. This should go away within a day or 2 (if it doesn’t, you might be developing an infection).
But the treatment carries the risk of infection, since the skin is broken, and allergic reactions to the products. An allergic reaction can be prevented with a patch test, but the possibility of infection is a greater concern which is why you need to follow the aftercare to prevent from any infections.

The effects can last for years, but not forever.
There are actually 2 versions of the treatment which provide results of different lifespans – permanent concealer tattoo done with tattoo ink, and semi-permanent concealer which is done with pigmented serums.
Permanent procedure done with tattoo ink can last as long as a decade, while PMU lasts 1-3 years on average, with occasional touch ups necessary for keeping the results fresh.
