3D Areola Nipple Tattoo
For many breast cancer survivors tattooing may be the final step in their breast reconstruction journey and is also considered by those with areola colour loss. If you have had a breast reconstruction after a mastectomy, you may have been left without areola or sometimes nipples. In any cases, medical tattooing can can be used to create stunning and realistic looking reconstructions for you.
It is a minor procedure performed under aseptic technique using antiseptic and sterilised equipment. Over a series of sessions, our Nipple Areola Complex (NAC) Tattooing can add layers of colour and redefine a shape . If the area is Bi-Lateral we will take into account skin tone to provide you with the most natural colour possible. For a Uni-lateral patient we will simply chose the closest colour match.
Areola Colour Pigmentation
NipBlush or Areola Pigmentation is a tattoo to help darken and enhance the Areola colour. We can also Neutralise brown nipples with our NipBlush treatment. We can make brown nipples rosey and pink!
Naturally some people are born with small Areola’s (the areola is the outer area of the nipple). This can be enlarged with tattooing. Please note we will match the colour as close as possible. However sometimes darkening will happen as we are adding pigment to the skin. We always advise two treatments for these bookings, and sometimes a third for perfecting.
3D Areola Nipple Tattoo – Top Surgery
Following Top Surgery for any gender related treatment the surgeon will ask if you would like to keep your nipples or not. Not all people want to keep their existing nipples so in this case we can create brand new ones for you. You can choose the new style, colour and of course placement. The placement of Male and Female Nipples are different and specialise in these tattoo treatments.
Of course there are occasions where keeping the nipples after they have been moved and altered do not survive and therefore they fall away or the shape is affected. If you loose the nipples altogether you may be left with some scar tissue, please send over images so we assess and advise you the best course of action. If they are not perfect shape, we can help with tattooing to enhance and give you a more ideal look.
